Delete my account and data
Ruisselo, by Studio Brightloon. Local play works without a form. The optional connected account is pseudonymous, with no email or password; this does not guarantee anonymity. If you have a connected account and a valid session, you can request deletion in the game.
In the game (available server required)
- Open Ruisselo and go to your Profile.
- Tap Delete, then read the two confirmations.
- Confirm with a connection to an available server and wait for confirmation of success. If the connection is interrupted before confirmation, the outcome may be uncertain: the server may have deleted the account without its response reaching you. Your local game stays on the device.
Without the game (by email)
You can ask for help at contact@brightloon.com. A friend code may help locate the account, but it is public and does not prove ownership: it is not enough to authorize deletion. Never email your session token or recovery key; we will not ask for them. If you kept the kit, use its key in the game to recover the account, then delete it. Without a session or kit, nothing lets us establish that the account is yours, so we cannot delete it on an email request. We answer every request within 30 days.
What is erased
- Your account and profile: generated and custom name, avatar, frame, country, language, visibility, friend code.
- Your progress and cloud save.
- The recovery key hash: the kit can no longer recover the deleted account.
- The account-linked commerce ledger: transactions, refunds, purchased balance, entitlements and granted items, commands and linked events.
- Your daily puzzle results and starts, your challenges and challenge results.
- Your friendships, your blocks (both ways) and reactions sent or received.
- Reports about you, and reports you made that have not been handled yet.
- Anti-abuse counters linked to your token.
What may remain, and for how long
- Handled reports you made: kept with no link to you, for the moderation history, for at most 180 days.
- Moderation log: if a moderation action targeted your account (for example removing a name), the entry stays in the log for at most 365 days; its identifier no longer points to any profile.
- Backups: the database restore history disappears automatically at most 30 days after deletion, and manually encrypted exports are deleted at most 30 days after they are made. If a restore brought your account back, we would delete it again.
- Anonymous totals (number of games per day, for example): they contain no identifier and are deleted after 25 months.
- On your device: your local game stays until you uninstall the game or clear the site’s data in your browser.
Data held by our partners
- Advertising (mobile, Google AdMob): reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings; see also Google’s My Ad Center.
- Purchases (mobile): purchase history stays with Apple or Google, linked to your store account. As long as purchases are not offered, nothing is sent to our purchase validation provider; before they are enabled, deleting the account will also request deletion of your data there.
- Private website access: email, one-time codes and private access sessions are separate from the game account. Sign-in logs are erased after 24 hours and the session after at most 7 days; write to us to remove your email from the access list.
- Steam: the Steam Cloud save and achievements belong to your Steam account (Valve).
